A quick update on Movie Night at the Market House. A date for start-up is still under review. Briefly, the logistics of using the Market House for our events, under current guidelines is not viable, both from a cost point of view and patrons’ comfort. We doubt that an evening in winter spent at the Market House with masks on, sitting at a social distance, with windows open and no licensed bar, would be anyone’s idea of a good night out.
However, we have made a short ‘B feature’ film as a small Christmas present to our patrons, which would have been shown before the big movie on a normal Movie Night. It is a brief story of Minchinhampton in 2020 and the effect on the very popular Christmas Eve sing-song in the undercroft, including a reminder of the uplifting experience the event provided in previous years. The film can be seen on YouTube by merely Googling ‘youtube eyeplays’ (our youtube
channel) or entering the URL https://youtu.be/nO5Ka9CxIo4. The title of the film is ‘The Silence of the Undercroft’.

I attended the latest viewing and enjoyed it very much. I estimate 100 people were in the hall. More Movie Nights please!
With best wishes

Hello Mark,
I agree. We were there too. It was brilliant. Thank you.
There will be another Movie Night next month.
