Our story
Minchinhampton Life was set up in 2017 by a group of volunteers as it was felt there was a need to bring the town together. Newcomers and local residents alike might struggle to find out what was going on in the town and the surrounding wards and when and where events were taking place. There were, and are, many good resources such as the Parish Council website, the Market House website and Churches’ websites but nothing that brought everything together.
Minch Life are responsible for bringing you the bi-annual Country Fayre, as well as the Christmas decorations in the town centre. A separate Fayre Committee was setup in 2019 to organise and manage the fayre and it was a great success. It was then decided that both the Minch Life and Fayre committees should be amalgamated.
Any profits generated by Minch Life are donated to local charities.
Minchinhampton Life is a non-profit website for the Minchinhampton community – a single source for news, events and information; designed to help promote local businesses and to assist groups, clubs and organisations to promote and co-ordinate their activities.
