I’m sure most of you will be aware that the outcome of the NDP Referendum on May 23rd was a resounding vote in favour of the Plan. 85% voted “yes”, with a turnout of 56%. The Plan will now be “made” by Stroud District Council, to allow its policies to be adopted in local planning decision making. Minchinhampton Parish Council will be responsible for taking forward and implementing the Plan.
Huge thanks are due to the members of the Steering Group who have worked so hard in consulting, drafting and seeking backing for the Plan – and to the Parish Council for its endorsement and support. We all look forward to working together to make the Plan happen.
