July Newsletter

As usual please see below a list of events taking place in the Minchinhampton area for the next month.  For convenience, we are also including events for August.  For more information and detail please look at the website https://minchinhampton.life

Plans for Minchinhampton Country Fayre on Saturday, 14th September are going very well.  The Lucky Onion – owners of the Crown Inn – have very kindly sponsored the event with a generous donation.   They will be open on the big day (hopefully by the August Bank Holiday) and will be participating fully on the day.  We have also received donations and raffle prizes from a wide range of businesses in the town and from local Companies – this is hugely appreciated.  Raffle tickets are already available to buy in Minchinhampton and the wider area – great prizes including a weekend break in a Herefordshire holiday cottage; a pitched tent at a festival; a trial lesson from the Cotswold Gliding Club; a huge teddy bear and many vouchers for meals, food and treats.  Please buy them and encourage your friends to do so – apart from sponsorship this is our only way of raising funds.

One of the great things about the Fayre is the way it involves and brings together all generations and so many of the town’s institutions.  It’s also a platform for many local charities to raise vital funds. We’d love the whole town to join in!   If you’d like to volunteer in the Fayre – on the day itself or in its preparations or aftermath – get in touch on admin@minchinhampton.life.
