A FANTASTIC RESULT

John Mounsey – Chairman of Minchinhampton Life – has published the following:

Yes, it’s true – after being closed since 2014, The Crown Inn has just been bought by The Lucky Onion, a group that describes itself as “a family of design-led hotels, restaurants and country pubs raised and rooted in the Cotswolds”.

Highly successful and well-versed in the hospitality business, The Lucky Onion seem to be the ideal people to take on the restoration of one of Minchinhampton’s most significant and historic buildings.

Using their investment and professional expertise, the Crown will be able to throw off the years of dereliction and neglect and become, once again, the beating heart of the town.

We are sure that those of you who pledged money or simply followed the progress of the community bid will want to join us in wishing the Lucky Onion all the best as they start work on this important project.

And once the work is completed and The Crown reopens, let us all be sure to become regular users of its facilities to ensure that it thrives and prospers!

Thank you once again for your support and enthusiasm.
