Biographical Info

I have lived in Minchinhampton with my photographer husband Paul for the last 20 years, we chose to live here because of our love of walking and the outdoors. We have one son who is now grown up.

A year ago after almost 40 years working in clinical development and consulting, I decided it was time for a new adventure. I retired to realise a life-long ambition to set up a soft furnishings business. With my diploma in hand, I set up the Lemon House Soft Furnishings this year. I make high-quality, bespoke curtains, blinds and window seat cushions. All my curtains and blinds are hand-stitched by me to my client’s requirements.

Choosing soft furnishings can be overwhelming, so I make sure that I am there to help my clients every step of the way, starting with helping you to choose the right soft furnishings for your room.  With the huge number of suppliers and fabrics out there, finding the perfect fabric can be very time consuming. If you need my support, I can obtain samples so that you can see the fabrics in situ before making your choice.

Once the final decision is made, I will hand stitch and deliver your curtains, blinds and cushions to you. I can also help with the fixings should you need them.
