The story of Minchinhampton dates back to prehistoric times, however the town saw a population boom in the the 17th century thanks to the woollen cloth industry and expansion of hand weaving.
Our Cotswold inn dates back some 300 years to 1715, and for many years was used for public meetings and assemblies before becoming a beer house.
The pub closed in 2014, before being lovingly restored, renovated and re-opened in October 2019. In February 2022 it was bought by Young’s & Co to continue being a hub for the community for years to come.
