His story is like many others. 219\,000 in England alone\, every single year. \nSteve was a victim of circumstance and a man suffering from his memories. He became trapped moving through the support system\, trying and failing to navigate his way back. Experiencing the system from the inside\, he saw it as fundamentally broken. After getting himself back on his feet\, he vowed to ensure others wouldn’t go through the same experience. He became a homeless advocate\, helping people and asking for nothing in return. In doing so\, he became a voice for those in need. He remained determined in the belief that things could and should be better. Steve set out\, along with many others in the city of Gloucester\, to do just that. \nThis is Steve’s story.” \nThe filming of the documentary has been completed and the team are assembling the footage. DESCRIPTION:I will be using my knowledge of Shiatsu Massage\, Accupressure Techniques\, Energy Breathing Movements and Guided Meditation to create Wellbeing and Balance for you on a physical\, mental\, emotional and spiritual level … to release tension and pain\, to relax\, nourish and to re-energize …to allow your innate healing energy to flow smoothly.\n\n\n\nThis will be a coming together of three women plus myself at my small but very cosy and safe little healing sanctuary in the heart of Minchinhampton.\n\n\nThis will be a safe space where you can release things you don’t need anymore\, where you can envision new intentions and anchor them into your bodies.  We will gather and ground our energies.\n\n\n There will also be the opportunity for you to receive hands on healing and the frequencies of the singing bowl after we created an activated circle of hearts.\n\n\n\nIf you are interested please get in touch with me via my website below.\n\n\n\nI will be holding this workshop every month.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere will be a short break and participants are asked to bring their own food and drinks (water will be available).\n\n\nThe cost for each workshop will be:\n£50 (concession rate £45)\n\n\n\nLAST DAY FOR BOOKING WILL BE THE 6th JANUARY!!!\n\n\nIn order to make it viable I will need to have three women booked onto the workshop … in the event of not enough women booking I will refund all moneys paid for the workshop no later than 13th January.

DESCRIPTION:Box Bar continues to lubricate the village on the first and third Friday of every month.  It is well supported and has become a very enjoyable social hub for the village. \nIt serves wine\, prosecco\, gin and tonic\, organic cider\, organic lager and beers from Stroud brewery\, plus a selection of soft drinks.  The draft organic pale ale on sale is now gluten free. \nThe bar has a card reader\, so you don’t need to bring cash.  The profits from the bar help to fund the Village Hall.

DESCRIPTION:This is a fundraiser event in support of Joseph. \nJoseph’s journey through terminal cancer has been eased by the rallying of family and friends; but now\, more than ever\, they need support to fund vital ground-breaking immunotherapy cancer treatment for him\, his family and their future together. His partner Thea (our friend and colleague at Brimscombe Mill) and baby Tao rely on him as a loving husband and father and hope many of us can gather together to help them. \nThea met Corinne 25 years ago when they were both at university in Leeds. Their partners were best friends in a band together and they formed an instantaneous deep connection. They have remained close in each others lives and families ever since. Corinne has offered her friend this sensational one-off acoustic performance to fundraise and support with Joseph’s much needed treatment. \nAs always\, we like to keep our events pay-as-you can so that cost of access is not a barrier to attending. There are several tiers of ticket pricing\, including some on the house! 100% of the ticket sales going directly to Joseph for his treatment. \nDJ Will Mendoza will start us off with a live set and The Long Table will be cooking up a warming pay-as-you-can evening meal from 6pm\, followed by an acoustic set & Q&A with the incredible Corinne Bailey Rae from 7.30pm. \nThe night will close with an auction of a signed LP & two tickets to Corinne’s 2024 headline event in July in London\, including a backstage meet & greet and the chance to pick songs for the set. \n6pm Doors/Bar/DJ & Dinner – 7.30pm Corinne Bailey Rae – 8.30 Auction & DJ – 11pm Last orders at the bar \nTickets:  https://www.thelongtableonline.com/events
