DESCRIPTION:During the wild food foraging\, which last around three hours\, we will be identifying\, picking\, and eating a number of delicious plants. There will be discussion around seasonal eating\, the nutritional values and medicinal use of plants. We will also look at the conservation of species and their habitats\, what to take and what to leave. There are specially constructed show gardens to give you all sorts of ideas about your own (with the return of the container garden category).\nThe festival theatre offers talks\, as well as Gardeners’ Question Time; there’s a grow and cook theatre. Lots of food and drink offerings (from stalls to cafes). And retail therapy galore. (I bankrupted Ian last year. DESCRIPTION:During the wild food foraging\, which last around three hours\, we will be identifying\, picking\, and eating a number of delicious plants. There will be discussion around seasonal eating\, the nutritional values and medicinal use of plants. We will also look at the conservation of species and their habitats\, what to take and what to leave.
