DESCRIPTION:Come along to a summer foraging experience and discover the wonderful world of wild food. A professional forager will help you learn how to safely ID edible species and come away with lots of ideas for turning your foraged bounty into scrumptious meals. \nWhile we be out for three hours exploring and foraging wild food\, we will be identifying\, picking and tasting a number of delicious edibles that we find on the way. There will be discussion about seasonal eating and the nutritional values and medicinal use of plants. We will also look at the conservation of species and their habitats\, what to take and what to leave. And of course there’s use and storage of wild food\, recipes and lots\, lots more. DESCRIPTION:MBC’s very welcoming group for babies to Year 4 children and their families. \nThursday club has restarted every 2nd Thursday in the outdoor spaces next to The Hub from 3.30 to 4.45pm (just arrive when you can make It after school/Nursery pick up) . There will be lots of craft\, games\, multisport\, snacks\, drinks\, toys\, stories\, singing etc to choose from (all organised in line with current Covid guidelines) and a lovely chance for us all to meet up again.
