DESCRIPTION:We need a gang to pull a large area of ragwort on the banks at Houndscroft. WEDS eve @ 7 o’clock (27/7/22) if anyone is interested we are meeting in the Bear car park at 7.00 pm\n\nRagwort is highly poisonous to livestock.  It contains a range of related toxins\, all of which damage the liver. The more ragwort that is eaten the greater the damage.\nThere is no specific antidote for ragwort poisoning. No treatment is of much value in affected animals.

DESCRIPTION:The circus will be in Minch from 11th – 22nd August. \n ¡Carpa!  \nGiffords Circus is back in 2022 with a brand-new show directed by Cal McCrystal.  \nThis year Tweedy is joined by fellow clown Adriana Duch Carvallo from Mexico\, juggler Gordon Marquez\, aerial artistes Isabella and Daniela Munoz Landestoy\, the – knife throwing – Jasters\, aerial straps act Randy Forgione Vega and acrobats from the Havana Circus Company. \nWe are pleased to welcome back Giffords’ favourites\, vaulting and pas de deux act the Donnert Family and trapeze artiste Anna Rastova\, who you may remember starring in Xanadu in 2019.
