SUMMARY:Remembrance Talk:  Minchinhampton Local History Group
DESCRIPTION:It is a Remembrance talk  by the local History Group.  Essentially\, the talk is about Minchinhampton men’s involvement in the Boer War\, the Minchinhampton casualties\, something about the Ricardos [Ambrose won a DSO in the Boer War] and Dr Brown of Dr Brown’s Road [who was also there]. \nBrian Lett will do the first half\, Martyn Beaufort will do the second half [which is about Dr Brown]. \nWe are not confining it just to the Boer War\, but will wander into various other aspects of war-related Minchinhampton history [such as the Memorial Hall]. All ticket money will go to the RBL. There is no band this year\, but we will use Alan Vaughan’s remembrance piece again.
