DESCRIPTION:Twice cancelled due to COVID.  This is the third attempt to give this concert.  Songs by Brahms\, Louis Spohr and Prince Albert.  So long as they can overcome the tech\, there will be subtitles giving simultaneous translations of the songs that James will be singing. \nJames Gilchrist was a choral scholar at King’s Cambridge before training to be a doctor. The medical world’s loss has been a huge gain for music and he is now much in demand as an oratorio and solo singer. We’re delighted that he has offered to come and sing for us.
