DESCRIPTION:A free eating well information workshop to be hosted at Longfield Community Hospice \nLongfield is partnering with Macmillan\, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust to explore the importance of a balanced diet when living with cancer. \nRecognising that nutrition can make a huge difference to wellbeing after a cancer diagnosis\, the workshop will explore some of the common themes around creating healthy balanced meals. \nIt will also look at practical ways in which recipes can be adapted to aid symptom management and will bust some of the myths that are held about diet and long term illness. \nThe event\, which is to be held at Longfield’s wellbeing centre on 12 September 2025 from 9.30am to 1.30pm\, will include a networking lunch with an opportunity to continue the discussion with partners in the field. \nTo book on this workshop or for more information contact or call Longfield’s wellbeing services: \n01453 733 706 \nWellbeing@longfield.org.uk
