DESCRIPTION:Our popular 5k and 10k walk is back — and this year\, we’re putting talking at the heart of it. \nJoin us for a late summer walk for Longfield\, with stunning views across Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons\, along with our counsellors who will walk along side you – just as they support patients through our counselling services. \nBring along friends\, family and even the dog for a relaxed walk\, followed by an early evening of live music\, home-cooked food\, garden games and a licensed bar. Even if you’re not walking\, you’re very welcome to join us and enjoy the fun. \nChoose between a 5k or 10k route – whatever suits you best. All walkers will set off from Longfield’s base in Minchinhampton between 3.00pm and 7.00pm. \nAdult Tickets £7.50 \nChild Tickets £5.00 \nDate – 6th September 2025 \nTime – Walkers to start from the hospice grounds between 3pm and 7pm \nAddress – Longfield Community Hospice\, Burleigh Lane\, Minchinhampton\, Gloucestershire\, GL5 2PQ \nTransport – There is parking available at the hospice \nRoute – Choose between a 5k or 10k route – whatever suits you best. All walkers will set off from Longfield’s base in Minchinhampton.  This is a self-guided walk but we expect most walkers to set off by 3.30 pm to make the most of the route and the food and drink back at the hospice afterwards.
