SUMMARY:Midsummer Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a solstice and Midsummer celebration at Oak & Ash & Thorn\, held in Voltaire’s Wood from 8pm on Saturday 22 June until sunrise the next day.   You can stay over\, camp\, and join us for pre-dawn climb to a local hill to greet the following day!\n\nSaturday 22 June is the midpoint between the summer solstice on the 20th and Midsummer’s Day on the 24th. It’s the perfect moment to let go of your worries and stresses and let the sun rejuvenate your senses as we celebrate the long days and the abundance of nature all around us.  The evening starts at dusk with a forage through the woods led by our expert forager\, then we return to sample some local botanicals before settling down to an evening of storytelling and delight round the campfire.\n\nAnd should you decide to camp with us\, just before sunrise\, you’ll be led in a gentle walk up one of our most beautiful nearby hills to welcome the dawn and look out over the splendour of the Gloucestershire countryside.\n\nThis is a celebration for those wishing to add a little magic into their weekend\, those in need of a moment of reflection\, and those who like an adventure.\n\nFor more information about Oak & Ash & Thorn\, held in Voltaire’s Wood\, go to www.oakandashandthorn.com\n\nThis event is BYO alcohol.
